One Slow Walk Around the Room. That’s the Whole Job.

Photographing a whole house one shelf at a time is why most people never finish an inventory. Record a single pass instead: the AI pulls frames from the video, identifies what’s in them and files each item for you.

  • Every detected item becomes its own entry, with its own photo
  • All of them stay grouped under the recording they came from
  • Review, rename or drop anything before you save

Why Keep a Home Inventory

An Inventory Is Boring Until the Day It Isn’t

Nobody catalogues their home for fun. They do it before a move, after a scare, or the third time they can’t find something they know they own.

Moving

Know Which Box It’s In

Scan as you pack. When you’re facing forty identical boxes in a new hallway, search the item instead of opening all of them.

Insurance

A Record Made in Advance

Photos, item lists and values captured before anything happened, dated, and exportable the moment you need them.

Everyday

Remember What You Own

Loft, garage, storage unit, spare room. The things you forget you own are the things you can’t list from memory.

FAQ

Questions, Answered

Everything people usually ask before starting their home inventory.

What Is an AI Home Inventory App?

It is a record of what you own, built from photos. Instead of typing a list, you photograph a shelf, closet or room and the AI names each item it can see, counts it and suggests a value. Everything is saved to your account so you can search it, edit it and export it later.

How Does the Photo Scan Work?

Tap Add items, then take a photo or choose one from your gallery. The AI analyses the picture, usually in under a minute, and lists every item it recognises with a quantity and an estimated value. You check the list, fix anything it got wrong, and save it as a box.

How Accurate Are the Item Values?

They are AI estimates of typical replacement cost, meant as a starting point. You can change any name, quantity or price before or after saving, so the record reflects what you actually paid or what the item is worth to you.

What Kind of Photos Can I Upload?

JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC (iPhone) photos up to 25 MB. One shelf, cabinet or corner per photo works best: use good light, open doors and drawers, and give large items like a TV or sofa their own photo.

Can I Record a Video of a Room Instead of Taking Photos?

Video walk-throughs are in beta. Where they are switched on, you record one slow pass around a room and the AI turns each item it spots into its own entry, grouped under that recording. Photos work for everyone today.

How Do I Find Something Later?

Search by item name, room or category from the top of any page. Results show which box the item is in, with the original photo, so you can find the right moving box or shelf without opening everything.

Can I Use My Inventory For an Insurance Claim?

You can export your whole inventory, or any search result, as a spreadsheet (CSV) with every box, item, quantity and value, ready to send to your insurer or adjuster. What a claim requires is up to your insurance company, but a dated list with photos made before a loss is a strong place to start.

Do I Need to Download an App?

No. It runs in the web browser on your phone, tablet or computer, so there is nothing to install. On a phone, the Take photo button opens your camera directly.

Does It Cost Anything?

It is free to start and no credit card is required. Create an account and add your first box in a couple of minutes.

Is My Information Secure?

Your inventory is tied to your account and protected by secure sign-in with rotating sessions. Photos and videos are stored against your account and are only used to build your inventory.

Can I Sign In With Google?

Yes. You can create an account with your email and a password, or continue with Google.

What Should I Photograph First?

Start where most of the value is: electronics, furniture, jewelry and watches, appliances, closets and the tools in your garage. Then work room by room. A few photos a day adds up to a complete inventory quickly.

Can I Delete My Account and Data?

Yes. Go to Settings, then Danger zone, and confirm with your password (or your email address if you use Google sign-in). Your account and all of its boxes and items are permanently deleted.
